Sunday

We had an awesome service today and we so enjoyed having Gammer and Grandad sitting on the front row with us. We loved that they got to see what we are helping to pioneer. Afterwards we went to what seemed like the happening place, Cracker Barrel. We had to wait for a while but it was well worth it.

Dad just love to talk to Grandad.

His poor Gammer misses Travis so much.

I know this is blurry but I thought it was still very cute. I am gonna miss him this week while he is gone.

Dad is listening to...

...Grandad talk.

We had the best waiter, anytime we needed something he would actually write it down so he wouldn't forget it.

We had a wonderful afternoon and I can't to share with you what we are gonna do tomorrow. It will be lots of fun!!

4th of July

For the 4th of July Travis and I took Gammer and Grandad to The Melting Pot downtown. It also decided to rain on the 4th of July which really sucked, but it actually turned out to be a pretty good evening. It is a tradition for The Melting Pot to turn off all of the burners and let you go out their back door to have a front row seat to the firework show.

Here are all of the ingredients to our Spinach Artichoke Cheese Dip. It was so delicious!!
Here is our uncooked meat that we had to cook in the broth. You put screws in the meat and then cook it and dip it into one of the many sauces they give you.

Here are all of the pictures of the most amazing fireworks that all happened over the Cumberland River.

Aren't they the cutest elderly couple ever.

It rained so much during the fireworks that the street was flooding and people were drenched from head to toe. I felt so bad because Travis and I had my moms huge umbrella while they were dripping wet.

Now for dessert we had the Flaming Turtle Chocolate. It was made of milk chocolate, caramel, and pecans. It was so delicious!!!

This is all the little goodies that you get to dip into the chocolate. Tasty!!!

When me and Gammer ordered our coffee our waiter actually asked us if she was my grandmother and then we explained that Travis was actually blood related not me. But I still consider them my grandparents. We had an amazing night with them.

Grandad and Gammer

So tonight we picked up Gammer and Grandad (Roy & Frankie Little) from the airport. They were at a convention at a nearby state so they thought that they would pop by for a quick visit. His grandparents were so happy to see Travis. I just love being with them. To me they are the cutest elderly couple ever. They always make me smile.
His Gammer was so excited that Travis was here, that she kept moving so therefore I couldn't focus my camera to get a clear shot.Once we got them settled into their hotel room we went across the street to O' Charley's to have a drink and a little nibble on something. After that we took them back to their hotel room for some much needed rest after a day that they had.

This was my Carmel pie that I tried to eat it all but couldn't so Grandad finished it off for me. I can't wait to take them a to a restaurant downtown for a 2 hour meal. Its going to be fabulous!!!

Tonight we celebrated Mike's birthday and Alissa's birthday at Logan's Roadhouse. I so enjoy all of us being together. We have such a ball!! Tonight we actually split up the couples, all the girls sat in a group and then the boys sat in a group. We were in our own conversations, the boys talked about guns while the girls just chatted from one subject to the next.
Angela was being a goober, but I love it because she always poses for the camera.A yummy sirloin and a fantastic baked potato!!
The birthday boy and his wonderful wife.
Now this lady, at the top of her lungs, shouted out to the whole restaurant that tonight was Alissa and Mike's birthday. And that everyone one had to give them a big "yee haw." Alissa was completely mortified. My mom actually made this little gift card holder. How creative is she??
Ok, so this bag is in the shape of a cupcake with a crinkled cupcake liner on it.

I just love this picture of Alissa opening her presents.

This is all we saw of mom tonight, a camera in front of her eye.

Tell us which way to look guys, which camera?!?

Micheal opening presents that only guys understand.

My wonderful mommy

Now this is to funny!! Travis and my dad buy the same shoes without knowing it and then they wear then on the same night and don't even realize it. Like father, like son.

Now this is my new ride. Isn't it just awesome!! I am so blessed. I just love the faith walk and the believing.

We had an awesome night with our gang. We really have turned into one big family.
