Trust, it seems so simple yet when all you have is that and the situation turns is when you find yourself questioning everything. It's like walking out on a plank knowing the crashing water is below, ready and willing to swallow you up. And you are praying for just a dingey to be there to catch your fall.

Life doesn't always happen the way I want or the way I think that it should but at the end of everyday I have to trust my Father that he sees the big picture at hand. And remember, that the day that I gave my life to Him my life was no longer my own. I've said, "Use me God. I want to do great and mighty things for you." The second the opportunity becomes available I complain because it not convenient. I've said, "Whatever You want me to do, I'll do." And then I fall short of finishing because life got in the way. I've said, "I want to touch people, I want to make a difference." And then when people want friendship I pull away because of my own hurt and offenses. I've said, "I will go where every you want me to go as long as you use me." And then get scared because of the unfamiliar place He put me in.

We don't get the privilege of seeing our life in the big picture. Sure, we have plans but how many of those have fallen through the cracks. Just when you feel that you can't take anymore life hands you just a little more almost like it is waiting for you to give up.

I am here saying bring it on! I can take! I was made for more! I was made to make a difference and no one can take that from me. I will stand strong hold my head up high and know that He has a plan in it all. Just when it feels that life got a little heavier it is my honor, my privilege, and my right to trust Him.

Project Life 4/29-5/5

Since I have been off from work all week because of my injury I have been able to get caught up on my project life. I am officially caught up to date. That makes me so excited! I do not like being behind at all. I want to catch the memory while it is still fresh.

Hope you enjoy this weeks project life! And don't forget to leave me a comment. I love hearing the feedback.

He is my left side. I love using lots of color. It is candy for the eyes.
I love this little cameo from This & That.
Who said paper clips had to be boring? I love it when they pack a punch!
I had an empty pocket that I filled with a card that was printed from home. I just added a cute little sticker. Pretty easy.
Here is insert #1. I think I will always have to many pictures not to have an insert. I do not limit myself on how many pictures or inserts that I have. This is my life and I want as much of it as possible down on paper.
Since part of this insert was about updating my blog. I felt that the @ Amy Tangerine sticker would fit just perfect.
I love Hedi Swapp's sequin arrow. I guess you could call me a diva because even my project life needs some bling.
This is the back side of insert #1.
I used a Polaroid of the scooter from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan paper. I cut out all of the Polaroids and put them in my die cut tray so they are ready to go. The scooter is my favorite! I think it is just so cute.
This is my right side. I love to mix my pockets, some have a full picture while others are like mini layouts. It brings a nice variety to the pages and the eyes.
I am in love with October Afternoon but I did question the Rocket Age line. I have no little boys in my life except my husband of course. I bought the sticker sheet anyway because of the labels that had no space images on them. They make for great labels in project life. I used one label on the picture above me and I have fallen in love with them. Who cares that I don't have a little boy to use them on. I wish more of the labels came with more space images.
This past Saturday I received the pleasure of meeting an Instagram friend at her yard sale where she aided in my scrap booking addiction. So therefore, I felt that the sale tag from the 5 & Dime collection was appropriate.
I love the Studio Calico Notions. I felt that it gave it a vintage feel.
Here it is! The sticker of all stickers! I just had to use it on my Super Moon picture. I can't tell you how excited I was to use this one. I know it takes up the majority of the picture but, oh well. You can still see the moon and I am super happy.

I am easy amused and very happy to please. It doesn't take much to make my day and finishing up my project life has done just that.

Thank you for stopping by. Find something that makes your day and pass on the smile!

Rain, Rain Go Away

I know that my title is rain, rain go away but I love the Tennessee storms. People say that I am crazy but I am just amazed at how it can drop buckets of rain in several minutes. The rolling and clapping thunder makes me so excited. And the lighting can light up the sky like no body's business. We never got these kind of storms in California and they amaze me every time they roll in.

I took a few pictures of the rain with my nice camera, not my iphone because I love seeing the clarity of the rain drops bouncing and the sheets of rain running across the streets.

These are the sheets of rain I was referring to.

And I thought this kind of rain was only for Hollywood movies. We actually opened the garage door and watched as it poured. Standing a few feet back we even got a pretty good mist from all the rain.

Till nest time...

Sweet Madi

My little cousin is such a diva! She walks around like she owns everything she steps foot on. Even though she loves to wrap up and hold her baby dolls she loves playing with the boys outside. Here are a few pictures I shot of her playing outside on the playground.
I am so happy I caught this because those chunky legs are too adorable not to photograph.
I don't think Madi quite grasp how to get to the top of the slide to slide down. She kept sitting at the edge and then jumping off like she just had the ride of her life. She wanted to do it like the big kids.
Even though she was the smallest of the bunch she wanted to take on that slide. I know that this picture is a little over exposed but her face is hilarious. And her legs caught so much air I wasn't sure if she was going to slide down or take flight.
It didn't look like it fazed her at all. She was having a good ol' time!
She hasn't quite mastered the landing yet but if you know our Madi bug she has quite the landing gear for this sort of thing.

Till next time...

Project Life 4/22-4/28

This is the left side. I used the Design F in the variety pack from Becky Higgins. I felt like it took me a little longer than usual because I have to design more pockets but I love the variation.
I cut this little jar out from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan line. I also cut out the cute little Polaroids from her 12x12 paper that I used on my date insert card.
I used my new Studio Calico stamp! I love this stamp!
I also used some of Amy Tangerine's sketchbook line die cute as well as her stickers
This is insert #1. I created a 8x10 photo is photo shop and made a collage of pictures crop to 2x2. It made for a very easy insert.
Here is the back side of insert #1. I used the extra space at the bottom to journal about the fun times we had at bunco. If you notice to the right I attached a flip pocket.
I wanted to keep my score sheet as a memento so I attached it to the 8x10 using the flip pocket.
Here is the right side.
I love this Amy Tangerine camera die cut. I have been waiting to use it on something fantastic because it is so stinking cute.
For the four 3x4 pockets I used all October Afternoon line to show that it was one fun event. I love the little duck.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Project life stay tuned for the following week.

Beautiful Moon

I got this beautiful image tonight of the moon. It was right out side my back door in between to tall trees. In order to get the moon to come out with the color I did loose the trees but seeing the variety of color and dimension in the moon makes up for it.

I followed Katrina Kennedy on her blog post about taking pictures of the moon. I set the ISO to 100, the aperture to f8.0, and the shutter to 1/125. Even when I cropped the picture to get more of the moon I did not loose the definition of the moon.

Can't wait to try it again in 2017!

Project Life 4/15-4/21

I must be on a roll or maybe I would just like to be caught up with my project life. I had decided that I would finish this week on Sunday evening because I had nothing planned. This was going to be my evening and sadly I spent my evening and early, early morning in the ER. ( I'm ok, no worries.) But I did finally finish today. Yeah for me!

This week I had more mini events like a BBQ at a friends house, a mani pedi day with mom, and a lunch date with Travis so therefore I kept the back ground papers the same to help keep them together even though they are on either a 12 x 12 or 8.5 x 11 page protectors with other images.

Check it out for yourself!
This is my left side. The majority of what I used on this side was Dear Lizzy Neapolitan. I wanted to keep it light and whimsical because it was a fun back yard BBQ.
On my date card I used an older piece of Heidi Swapp paper. (But still so very cute with the light pink polka dots.) The big letter A is S.E.I letter coaster with Amy Tangerine letters finishing it the rest of April. I love how the coaster letter makes a huge impression, like I'm here, look at me! I guess your personality comes across in your work, huh?
Dear Lizzy was used on this card. I love all of her stickers and thought this would fit perfectly because we are were eating popsicles like children. You are only as young as you feel!
This is one of my best girls so I thought she deserved the Dear Lizzy you're so lovely ribbon sticker.
I love these Dear Lizzy pinwheels but I haven't used them because they were so large. Well, I made one work because they are so stinking cute! And I like how big it is, it makes a big impression! (Wink, wink!)
This is the front side of insert 1. I finished the top row with all Dear Lizzy products because it was the end of the BBQ pictures. But I finished the rest of the pockets with random products because they are random pictures through out my week.
A large Amy Tangerine sticker to fill an empty pocket.
This is the back side of insert 1.
This is Becky Higgins paper from her Amber Collection along with a Amy Tangerine brad. I love the sewing machine with the pop of yellow.
A large Amy Tangerine sticker fills another pocket.
Right side has a few mini events again. I guess I like to be crazy organized and have my pictures in order as they happened. I can't mix them up it will drive me crazy.
A lovely Heidi Swapp sequin heart starts the phrase for my love of the oldies. Walking on Sunshine is my favorite!
One of my Amy Tangerine die cuts to show that Mom and I had some pretty fun times at the nail shop on a Saturday afternoon.
These Heidi Swapp neon letters are fantastic. They are a little hard to put on pages because they are so thin but I love the neon. Makes a statement!
A Dear Lizzy sticker to show off how delectable our Cottage Cafe date was. The Cottage Cafe owner also owns Crumb de la Crumb which was featured on Food Network. Oh yeah, you bet we ate some delicious cake.

Can't wait to catch up on my last week of project life. I hate being behind and then hopefully I can start my art journal.
