Girls Day!

Mom and I had a wonderful girls day on Thursday. We don't get to spend that much time together now that our work schedules are opposite but we definitely make up for lost time. I was reading the book "Something Borrowed" by Emily Giffin and wanting to see the movie. (I tried to finish the book before I saw the movie but it didn't happen but I did finish a few hours after the movie. It is a must read!) So mom and I planned a day for us to go and see it. But if course any girls day would not be complete if there wasn't lunch and shopping. So first things first, lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings. I know it doesn't sound all girly but dang it was good.
Our delicious boneless buffalo wings and french fries. Am I making anyone hungry? Our sauces consisted of Parmesan garlic, Asian zing, and the famous teriakyi. We thought we might have left overs for the guys but that theory went out the window as soon as those wings were on the table.

We went to the wonderful Target across the street because I wanted a certain floppy hat that my friend Kortney told me about at work. I found two hats that I loved but only choose one. Can you guess which I one I picked?

Hat A or...

Hat B?

I picked hat A. I love the colors and also the second one looked to floppy and covered what hair I have left. But I did decide that mom looked great in Hat B. But she disagreed. What do you think?

Here are the two goobers with the big hats are isle 10 who are taking pictures of everything! Who cares we were having fun!

And off to our movie we went. Mom brought the famous bucket she got roped into.

Isn't movie popcorn the best? It is so salty and buttery. Delicious! A movie is not a movie unless you have popcorn in your lap. Preferably in a bowl or a bucket!

This was a great movie and even a greater book. I hope you watch and read "Something Borrowed". It is a great story.
