The newest news in our lives is that we just celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the 19th of May. It seems like we've been together much longer than that, time flies. To celebrate we decided to get dressed up and see some of Nashville's coolest gatherings. First we went to the Frist, an art gallery downtown. The two exhibits they were showing were called Monet to Dali and The Tiffany.
I don't think I was supposed to take pictures of the paintings but it is for scrapbooking purposes only.
I don't even remember the artist name but its kind of an odd image
Ok one of these lamps is a Tiffany original and one is a foney. Which one is the real Tiffany?
Give up: The one on the left.
We went through this exhibit kind of fast. It didn't interest us much but it was cool to watch how they are made.
After we were done at the art gallery we went to dinner at a place called F. Scott's Jazz Bar. They have jazz seven days a week. This place was a lot of fun and the food was awesome. I have so many pictures of the food i bet you'll be hungry by the time you're done reading this.
First on the list was an appetizer...
(I had Hanger Steak)
(Travis had some chicken thing)
...then we topped off our tummies with really really hot coffee and banana ice cream.
The ice cream was so delicious!!!
We were talking to the waiter and he told us that Leann Rimes always eats there at the table right beside us and that Dolly Parton eats there at a table in the corner of the restaurant in a certain chair. Well as we were leaving guess who we saw...Mr. Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts. As much as I wanted to make up some story to just be able to go say hi and possibly have a conversation, I left him alone. He was eating with his wife and family.
Anyways the evening was a night to remember. We had a lot of fun and made some great memories. I thank God everyday for the man that He brought into my life, I cannot wait to spend many more anniversaries with him.
Aww Princess, that is sooo sweet! Your blog looks great. Love you.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I'm not the only one who takes pictures of food. Last time we went to San Francisco we ate at a fancy restaurant and the food was too pretty not to take pictures!

ReplyDeleteYour hanger steak looks really good! And I'm still waiting to see a famous person out and about!
